Voryn Privacy Policy

Voryn is designed around a privacy-first workflow. The app uses a no-login model and aims to keep your captured thoughts under your control.

Data storage

• Your app data is stored locally on your device.
• If you enable sync features, data may also be stored in your private iCloud account.
• Voryn does not require a traditional user account to use the core app.

Permissions

Voryn may request the following permissions so core features can work:

• Microphone to record voice input
• Speech recognition to transcribe spoken input
• Notifications for app reminders or status updates, if enabled by you

Without microphone or speech recognition access, key recording features will not work as intended.

Cloud processing and AI services

Some Voryn features may process your content using on-device components or encrypted network requests to Voryn services and configured AI providers. This can include speech transcription, summarization, or prompt-based refinement features.

Based on the current product architecture, Voryn uses server infrastructure to manage AI-related requests and subscription-linked quota features. If these systems change materially, this policy should be updated before those changes ship.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscription management may involve Apple and RevenueCat-related purchase processing. Voryn does not ask you to create a separate Voryn login for subscription use.

Data sharing

Voryn does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
